After midnight this morning, I had an sms from Wataniya. It said that my subscription to Reethi Tunes was successful and asked me to logon on to their website and gave me a pin code. A little while later, I received another sms to say that 12Rf has been taken for my Reethi Tunes subscription for one month.

I called Wataniya helpline 929 and told them about it. The girl who answered the helpline told me that there was a technical problem. She also told me that the problem will be rectified and I would be refunded. A while later I received an sms to say my subscription has been cancelled.

Later when I received an sms I was sure it would tell me that I had been refunded. Yet, the sms was to tell me that my subscription has been cancelled. Then I received another sms to say my subscription has been cancelled. Then several followed alternatively. Money has been taken for my Reethi Tunes subscription twice so far.

Imagine 24×25,000customers = 600,000.00 Rf in just under three hours! How many would have noticed and asked for a refund. Imagine how much Wataniya would have earned in technical difficulties just tonight!

I guess it’s time to migrate back to Dhiraagu!
