The number of child sexual abuse cases reported to the Ministry has tripled during the last year when compared to the records of the previous years, the Gender Ministry has revealed.

In a report released to the public last Monday, the Gender Ministry revealed that 97 cases of child sexual abuse had been filed with the Ministry during last year. Out of those 12 cases involved boys and the other 85 involved girls.
