The proclamation by the Chief Spokesman of His Excellency President Maumoon Abdul Gayoom, that Dr. Hassan Saeed is a tyrant; shocked me when I visited Miadhu Online this morning.

Apparently the Chief Spokesman is very young and has not seen much of the presidency of His Excellency Maumoon Abdul Gayoom. He probably has been in a virtual world of “creative chaos” all these days. The fantasy world of “paradise” which has blown up in the faces of people like that of the Chief Spokesperson. So leadership has now started to become a challenge.

What the young CS didn’t know is that his boss ruled a people with tyranny (a government in which a single ruler is vested with absolute power) till the longstanding opposition to his regime came to a climax with a compounded tackle from Anni. As the president recently pointed out, the people who are young don’t have a sense of the past of this nation.
