This morning as I walked into our office building, one of my colleagues told me that another person has been killed. According to him the person had been drowned attached to a heavy object.
And believe it or not! This has been, according to him, under the watchful eyes of our security forces and in their “front porch” …. next to the a jetty right in front of the Maldives Police Services, The Maldives National Defence Force, and the heavily guarded President’s Office.
Those of my acquaintances who claim that the security forces are behind the mob related killings, have not been happy with me for disagreeing that any of these things can be happening at an institutional level. I dont have sufficient information about the death this morning by drowning, but if it is gang related, I will refrain from arguing with my colleagues anymore on the subject.
What goes on in my mind is how we can STOP these killings. Simply HOW?

how could you ask killers to stop what they are doing? it seem they are the ones running the rules and this country

The only way the killings are going to stop is when the killers stop killing. I said a similar thing about drugs and the media finds it funny but I dont find it so.
