The first woman Attorney General of the Maldives will face a no confidence vote in parliament before the end of the year, brought to the parliament floor by a bipartisan caucus allegedly angered by her representation in the Special Majlis entrusted with drafting a new constitution for a presidential form of democracy.
The failed Special Majlis has been looking for emotionally charged “tactics” to shift blame for the lack of a focus on its mandate and total negligence of its duties to the People. A November 30th deadline set by itself for the Special Majlis to finalize the constitution will not be met, unless someone is able to work a miracle.
Miracles have saved this nation from turmoil on the infamous November 3rd, the August 13th “kaarisaa” of 2004 and many more. God has bestowed His Blessings upon the people of this country whose political leadership claim it to be a hundred percent subservient to Him. We shall await the next miracle!
