The Aftermath of the Sultan Park Blast

30 Sep

Scotsman.com website Scotland on Sunday has reported the Sultan Park Blast, which also topped the headlines of numerous international media including the BBC, CNN, Sky News and so on.
This comment attached herewith underlines the kind of prejudice that we face throughout the world. In order to survive and exist “this new crusade”, I believe, it is upon us to do our maximum to let people know what we are, and to make quick steps to train the minds of our young toward peaceful coexistence. And to solve our differences amicably instead of resorting to violence and terror tactics.
The fact of the matter is that this kind of prejudice, whether right or wrong, is causing us great harm. In the west they have the advantage of being in a position to bully and ridicule other people’s and their faith in whatever way they wish.
Islam does not propagate terrorism. Maldivians have a tradition of welcoming foreign visitors with humble hospitality to our shores. We have to build on both.

Maldives a hospitable country? You must be joking. They sure were hospitable to Francois Pyrad’s shipmates. The poor men were left to die of starvation. No one cared. Maldivians are just interested in seeing foreign girls naked and drinking leftover alcohol. and yeah pocket change tips. Bastards. This incident occured on the day of Badr victory. It’s certainly the work of super Muslim Maldivians. Islam has become a threat to civilization. We must take arms against this.

“Islam does not propagate terrorism. Maldivians have a tradition of welcoming foreign visitors with humble hospitality to our shores.”Who on earth should believe that when maldivians themselves dont believe.

all religions have some sorta bullshit in their ‘holy texts’, yet i believe these texts are important, sacred, and good stuff we should read.because it is how we read it that matters.as some youtuber said on a rant, religion is now like a flash light in the hands of cavemen, who would use it only as a hammer.

ShihabThe comment on Scotland on Sunday, “Is there no place left on the planet safe from Islamists and their way of life?…. We all have to get into this new crusade to protect our way of life.”Given the religious intolerance reflected in this comment the writer’s term crusade refers to the 11th century Crusades also known as ‘soldiers of the church’ who waged brutal and controversial wars. Both the Muslims and Christians will have to show tolerance of each other’s faith and should refrain from making inflammatory remarks. All of us should condemn terror and its perpetrators without pointing fingers at any religion.
