We are very angry about the abuse of these children. It is not happening only now. It has always happened and it has been ignored. But today we have come far. We must unravel the buried issues, be open and honest about it and take intensive measures. There is a meeting at Majeediya School on 4th March 09 at 8pm followed by a demonstration a couple of days later. Lets take action!

Thank you for pointing that out… Will keep in mind the next time… We took the inititative to set up a working group for the Prevention of Child Abuse at the Human Rights Commission comprising of government agencies and civil socity partners and the HRCM following the joint effort to mark November 19th in 2008. The first phase has been very much a planning effort and the activities planned for the year will start in March. The action plan of the Working Group for the Prevention of Child Abuse will be reported to the media shortly. We thank the support of all concerned individual, groups and organisations; in the effort to build a society that is caring of its children. CAWM

Suprised by the short article written. This is a major child abuse case, and is this all that child abuse watch has to say.
