The Path to Happiness, Trust, and a Stronger Community

This afternoon at 2:00 PM, I had the privilege of joining a radio show organized by Dhivehiraajjeyge Adu, to discuss the inspiring topic of happiness.

Today’s episode under the title “Walk the Talk,” was part of a series that has been running since the beginning of the year. It focuses on crucial conversations to build trust and promote a better society.

During the show, I shared insights on several key points including:the importance of “walking the talk” to build trust and become trustworthy individuals, and psychological benefits of embodying sincerity and authenticity.

I also stressed the importance of “Walking the talk” as a pillar for creating a happy and harmonious community, that contributes to greater mental stability and happiness in people’s lives.

I also delved into the religious perspective of “walking the talk” by referencing a Hadhith of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), which emphasizes that lying and deceitfulness are not characteristics of a true believer.

The show included some questions from listeners, including concerns about today’s youth and the use of vulgar language. I reflected on how children and young people mirror society and emphasized the need for those of us in older generations to lead by example, teaching a civil and respectful way forward.

Another thought-provoking topic touched upon double-faced behavior; the struggle some individuals face due to emotional deficits or past experiences, and how this can manifest in their actions. I believe that understanding these behaviors can help us approach such issues with compassion and support. I also believe they should seek professional help.

In conclusion, I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to the producer, Rizmy, and the presenter, Athifa, for giving me this wonderful opportunity. It was an engaging and powerful conversation, and I hope it sparks a meaningful conversation.
