Sometimes life feels like a long tide pulling you under. You try to stay afloat, but the waves just keep coming. We’ve all been there: moments when strength feels like a fading echo. Yet, in the Qur’an, Allah reminds us something profound: “Indeed, with hardship comes ease.” (Q 94:6) Not after hardship: with it.
Ease is already walking beside your struggle. It may not announce itself loudly. It might appear as a friend who checks in, a child’s laughter that melts the heaviness, or a verse that suddenly speaks to your heart. The storm and the stillness coexist: one teaches you patience, the other reminds you of grace.
When the heart aches, remember the waves never rise forever. They reach their peak, then return gently to shore. Every pain carries a promise: of growth, healing, and return to Allah.
So breathe. Whisper “Alhamdhulillaahi.” Feel the mercy that surrounds your moment. The same tide that feels overwhelming now will one day carry you gently forward.
Stay anchored in hope. Because with hardship, there is always ease.
