Today, we live in a time of disruption and distractions that race our hearts and tire our minds. Many of us smile on the outside: while quiet storms brew within.
Islam reminds us that peace doesn’t begin in our surroundings, it begins inside the soul.
“Verily, in the remembrance of Allah do hearts find rest.” (Q 13:28)
Sometimes, the best thing we can do is, to take a pause. Breathe. Whisper a small dhikr. Feel your heartbeat. That’s where healing starts: not by escaping the world, but by returning home.
Let’d find calm in the remembrance of Allah, and share that calm with those around us.
Smile and let smile.
