What a blessing it is to be born into Islam. For more than fourteen centuries, our people have carried this gift, passing it with love and sacrifice to the next generation. Today, that responsibility rests with us.

Islam stands on two inseparable foundations: the Qur’an and the Sunnah. One without the other is incomplete, like the ocean without its tide. Our duty is to preserve both in their authenticity and live by them.

But challenges remain. There are always voices seeking to weaken our unity, to sow doubt about Sharia, to suggest man-made laws can replace Allah’s guidance. Yet Allah reminds us: “They want to extinguish the light of Allah with their mouths, but Allah will perfect His light, even though the disbelievers dislike it.” (Qur’an 61:8)

The strength of this Ummah lies in obedience: reciting His Book, following His commands, staying away from what He has forbidden, and living with dignity in our identity as Muslims. The Prophet ﷺ cautioned us that imitating the ways of others erodes our uniqueness.

Our role is clear: to enjoin good, forbid evil, and build communities rooted in faith and morality. A believer wishes for others what they wish for themselves, protecting others from harm as they protect themselves.

And above all, let us renew our habit of sending blessings upon our Prophet ﷺ. It is a command from Allah, a light that strengthens faith and unites hearts.

May we hold firm to the rope of Allah without division, and pass this blessing on with love and courage.

Smile and let smile 🌸Alhamdhulillaahi
